Over
the last several months I have begun to carve Contemporary Decoys, or
Antique Style Decoys. These type of birds are very interesting to research
and then attempt to carve in the manner of some of the great carvers of
80-100 years ago.

I'm
just trying to do my part in preserving a part of the past, by helping to
preserve the heritage of the hand carved decoy. Most of the decoys I carve
are solid cedar bodies with basswood heads.
These carvings are
either for sale or have already
been sold as noted, but
the pictures give an idea of the style of carvings that I do. If you are
